Jefferson Street Jazz & Blues Festival
J.U.M.P. (Jefferson Street United Merchants Partnership) holds the Annual Jefferson Street Jazz & Blues Festival, showcasing jazz & blues and celebrating the musical heritage of Jefferson Street each year. This tradition has taken place since 2001 with the event kicking off with the Bridging the Gap Mixer. This year’s Mixer: A SoBro Block Party, will take place Friday, June 15 on 5th Ave S. at Demonbreun St. The Festival continues on Saturday, June 16 at the beautiful Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park. The event includes a children’s pavilion from 12-4 and local Jazz and Blues artists as well as national R&B artists starting at 4.
